Novice Group
This group is designed for young swimmers who will be initiated to the four competitive strokes, proper starts, turns and other competitive swimming skills and use of equipment in a fun and dynamic environment.
Swimmers are expected to participate in regional competitions which allow the coaches to see the progression of the swimmers and the technical points learnt throughout the season.
This group trains 3X week and requires dedication and commitment to our club.
Generally, this is for athletes aged 10 & under but exceptions may be made with head coach approval. Swimmers and their family are expected to assist with fundraising and officiating at meets.
