Level 1 (Previously called Goldfish / Seahorse)
An introductory level course designed to help younger swimmers reinforce skills such as becoming more comfortable in the water, learning Freestyle & Backstroke, and developing relationships with their peers and coaches. A minimum entry requirement of being able to swim 10m (unassisted) and being comfortable in the water is required.
Level 2 (Previously called Giant Turtle)
An introductory level designed to help the quickly developing swimmer become more accustomed to a team environment with more emphasis on kicking and building endurance in the water. An Introduction Butterfly kicking and an emphasis on a team environment is now promoted.
Level 3 (Previously called Octopus)
An intermediary group for swimmers now being introduced to Breaststroke to complete all 4 of the competitive strokes. Learning how to use the pace clock and participating at our end of session CALAC cup is now introduced.
Level 4 (Previously called Penguin / Dolphin)
A more advanced level designed to give our swimmers the tools required to prepare for entry into our competitive team. Swimmers are introduced to a more formal workout format with an emphasis on fitness, friendship and fun.
Level 5 (Previously called Shark / Challenge)
The final level in our system designed to reinforce technique on the competitive strokes and promote fitness through longer and more intense swim sets. Once completed swimmers are now ready to join our competitive groups.
Ados Actifs (New)
A group designed for swimmers 12 & over wishing to stay in shape through swimming. Emphasis on preparing to either to do lifesaving courses, staying in shape or swimming and making friends.
